RED LONDON

Red London formed in 1981. Inspired by early punk bands such as The Clash, Chelsea, The Ruts, Stiff Little Fingers, Angelic Upstarts, and The Jam.
The band are from Sunderland in North-East England.
In 1983 the band signed to Razor Records and the first release was the ‘Sten Guns in Sunderland’ E.P. followed by the first album  ‘This is England’ in 1984 also on Razor Records. The L.P. received a 5 star review in Sounds magazine.
The band toured live, mainly playing in Europe and the UK and went on to play in France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, etc.
