CHANGE

Change is a US/Canadian Straight Edge band from the Pacific Northwest featuring ex and current members of Betrayed, The First Step, Odd Man Out, Angel Du$t, Lower Species and Punitive Damage. Made up of Aram Arslanian, Chris Williams, Jeff Caffey, Mike Jurek and Matt Bertell the band’s brand of urgent hardcore is influenced by Youth of Today, Uniform Choice, INSTED, Sportswear, BOLD, Turning Point, Straight Ahead, Verbal Assault and Embrace. However, the song writing pulls inspiration from across genres keeping the band from painting themselves into a corner musically. Lyrically, their songs focus on growth, both personal and social, and encourage embracing who we are while also working on becoming the best version of ourselves. ULTHA

visit ULTHA on facebook Ultha is a five-piece metal band from Cologne (Germany). The band started in early 2014 after the demise of band members‘ old bands, such as PLANKS, GOLDUST, ATKA, IRA, etc. Their music can roughly be described as a hybrid of US-Black Metal, (Funeral) Doom and Dark Wave. If you can imagine Ash Borer and Emperor teaming up with Neurosis to play songs by Fields Of The Nephilim you might get an idea of Ultha’s sound. Lyrically the band doesn’t follow any classical metal cliches, instead ruminating about the inner darkness and sadness of our human struggle to find happiness and getting lost in its failures. PHANTOM WINTER

visit PHANTOM WINTER on facebook Phantom Winter bezeichnen ihren Stil als Winterdoom. LIBERTY AND JUSTICE

visit LIBERTY AND JUSTICE on facebook While taking traditional cues from the likes of The Templars and 4Skins, L&J aren’t content to make by-the-numbers Oi. Instead giving nods to the channeled HC ferocity of Sheer Terror, the sing-along sincerity of The Trouble, the hard-scrabble outsider rock sensibilities of The Bruisers, and fight-ready mentality of Houston originalists Tread. Featuring current and former members of Thug Boots, Roger Miret and the Disasters, and Darkbuster, L&J have come together to unapologetically force their own voice through to the fore and out on to the streets. BLOODTRUST

visit BLOODTRUST on facebook BLOODTRUST formed through dedication, commitment and attitude. During the 90s, the members of the band grew up listening to punkrock, metal and hardcore music, not aware that BTHC was what it all was destined for. BLOODTRUST started out in 2020, during the worst pandemic in decades, and the process was fast and furious. In the band’s first two months, they wrote and recorded 11 songs, i.e. the album that is to be known as „In Blood We Trust“. The truth is that BTHC will floor you. It will shake you to your core. You will feel like a car ran you over, and that you want it to happen again. In Blood We Trust! See BLOODTRUST live here: Want to book a show? Get in...

OBSTRUKTION

visit OBSTRUKTION on facebook Obstruktion are the latest band to declare their intentions to the world with their debut album, ‚Monarchs of Decay‘. Based out of Gothenburg and featuring a number of Swedish hardcore veterans and luminaries, this band have drawn influence from the music of their formative youth and have finely honed this sound using their many years of experience and cumulative musical wealth. The result is an album of utmost severity and vigour that tears through social constructs to disclose the arrogance of the privileged. The band don’t strive for a particular genre/sound and instead have made sure to create something unique and fresh while still paying homage to their predecessors. Appealing to fans of Hatebreed, Bitter End, Obituary, Harm’s Way and Earth Crisis, their tightly knit sound transgresses the boundaries of musical trends. TERMINAL NATION

TERMINAL NATION

visit TERMINAL NATION on facebook Terminal Nation is a 5 piece hardcore/death metal band hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 2014, their debut LP, “Holocene Extinction” was released on 20 Buck Spin in 2020. For a band that adopted the word “terminal” as part of their moniker and put “extinction” front and center in the title of their full-length debut, this Little Rock, AR quintet is paradoxically extremely fucking adept at breathing new resurrecting life into flatlined sub-subgenres. Holocene Extinction marries a tectonic late-’90s metallic hardcore pummeling—think Acme’s towering comp To Reduce the Choir to One Soloist (1996), His Hero Is Gone’s Fifteen Counts of Arson (1997) and Catharsis’ Samsara (1997)—to a nasty attack that calls to mind Napalm Death, Entombed and Obituary, with a few requisite-yet-tastefully-executed circa South of Heaven Slayer-isms tossed in for good measure. BULL BRIGADE

visit BULL BRIGADE on facebook visit BULL BRIGADE on Bandcamp The sound of Bull Brigade is a very distinctive street punk with punkrock and hardcore influences sung with a rough and melodic voice. The main thing that made the band one of the most important band in the italian scene is, for sure, the poetic and strenght of the lyrics of the songs, focus on topic as working class and the suburb’s life, football supporters and social problems.
